    We did not have ushers, and in your case I can’t see why you would have them.  I haven’t been to a wedding with ushers in years.

    Attendants will probably make your interactive guestbook go more smoothly…but I agree with your instinct that I’d be uncomfortable asking someone to do it.  I don’t want to put people to work when they should be enjoying the party.

    I did not have any of these sorts of helpers besides my aunts who helped make sure things were set up correctly prior to the wedding.  They didnt’ actually do the set up, just checked up on it.  This is the norm in my family.
