Hello all, I stumbled upon this site when googling “unusual engagement ring wedding bands” I have a beautiful ring that I am in love with but I really look forward to having a wedding band or enhancer except every band or enhancer I can find covers all of these up and its really what makes the ring in my opinion…Im a semetrical kind of girl so I really want something that goes on both sides of the ring like dual wedding bands or an enhancer…I may be out of luck any ideas or sugestions??? Thank you in advance…

Hey, we’re ring twins! I had a really hard time finding a band because I loved all of the beautiful details on the sides of the ring. I ended up finally finding a delicate art nouveau band on etsy, and I love the way they go together! Here’s my set:

Are you looking for something with diamonds in the band? I found that most bands with diamonds sat up very high and looked bulky next to my e-ring, and I tried on quite a few! I think maybe a knife edge diamond band would look nice, and since the band is angled it probably would show off more of the sides than a regular diamond band. They are thin so you could probably get one for each side:

@Holocene: That is awesome! I get so many complements on my ring. I never thought to try etsy! Ill give that a try! I do like the knife edge as well, Ill have to go to the jeweler and see what they have!

Once a jeweler had a pave set of 2 wedding bands ike the one pictured and he sad they could solder them lower on the ering so that you could see the sides, I only lost the diamond on each end…Ive thought of going that rout as well…

Have you considered a very thin, plain band? If you have aband with a low enough profile, it should sit below most of your embellishments. Unfortunately, choosing a ring with a lot of side details means that you will lose some of that visually by pairing it with another right. You might be better off seperating your engagement and wedding bands on different fingers

@MMaloy2003: I had a jeweler offer to do that as well. I didn’t go that route, because I didn’t want to solder my rings and I also thought it would make the e-ring sit crooked on my finger if the rings we staggered like that. But, if you get a ring on each side, it would probably work perfect! I would definitely suggest trying on some bands with that in mind to see if you would like that arrangement!

this is another option. I had my e-ring sized up and had two bands soldered almost underneath of my ring, so my neat side work would still be visible.
message me if you’d like me to explain it better

@MMaloy2003: (please excuse DH’s fingers in these pics… all of the good ones were taken before I was allowed to have it!)
