He’s enlisted, I’m assuming? I’m surprised the chain of command is allowing any of this.

@TexasSpringBride:  Oh dear God…this is a nightmare.  I feel so bad for your friend.  I’m so glad she has you to help her out with this.

Can the guy go to jail for this?  I hope so.  This is just so wrong.

Poor thing.  Good for you for helping her hold this bastard accountable.  If my memory serves me correctly, bigamy is a crime punishable by jail time.

Oh no, I can’t even imagine! It is so, so good that she has you to support her.

There must be something seriously wrong with this man?

@TexasSpringBride:  This is unbelieveable!  What a scumbag.  I hope these ladies get justice.  You’re a good friend for helping your friend out when she needs it most.

Wow poor lady. Sounds like a tough situation.i was in the Army, her situation does not surprise me. I hope that everything works out for her. She should definitely continue to bug his chain of command. Tell her to  get the company commanders number and call after hours leaving a long message explaining everything. Her hubby will get in trouble, she just needs to talk to the right person.

@kellmerr:  +1  I spoke to my Fiance about this and he said that the commander dropped the ball because they generally starts the process of investigating him and he will eventually be dishonorable discharge conduct unbecoming a solider.

The military has strong rules regarding this behavior and it give them a black eye when they have this kind of conduct. If is severe such as this situation they will lock him up.

Wow. Just…wow. I am so sorry that your friend is going through this. This guy is truly scum. I agree with PPs that she should continue to contact his commander as there should be something they can do. I wish her the best!
