What do you think of this hemline?
Should it be lengthened or am I completely crazy? It doesn’t help that I hate my feet and am wearing sandals for our wedding (flat, ugly feet showing on my wedding day is not what I had ever imagined.)
I go in tomorrow to meet with the seamstress to see what she can do. I can only imagine how costly lengthening the dress will be. Trying to avoid this because the bust is too big on me and needs to come in. (Alterations are already at $500 without lengthening.)
Do you think it’s absolutely necessary? Let me know your opinions! Thank you!

What about wearing shoes that cover your feet if you dont want to show them to avoid rising costs?

Like the lenght as iti s. Looks right to me. Dress suits you

I think the length looks fine – just brushing the floor. It will show your feet as you walk, but that’s a fact rather than a criticism.
It seems lke the issue is your shoes making you feel self conscious? I’d suggest changing shoes if you don’t want to wear sandals.
Or have a pedicure and learn to love your feet 🙂 I’m sure your partner does, along with all the rest of you.

Ugh, I’m having the same issue. I’m 5’9 without heels and my dress is skimming the tops of my shoes.
I would say add something if you’re not comfortable showing your toes/shoes.
But if you’re clumsy I would leave it as it, so you don’t trip.
Personally I would add maybe another layer of that beautiful lace!

I think it’s the perfect length, unless you decide to switch to heels.
As far as feet, mine are super flat as well, and I’ve always hated them. Recently, I’ve really gotten into yoga and doing foot stretches, and I’m actually building up an arch! It takes work, but my feet look so much better!
