123.srussell:  I’m having mine in Leeds. Depends what you’re after though. I know quite a lot of people have then in Cambridgeshire and go punting? Sometime they let people have them at centre parcs and do the whole spa, swimming, activities thing

What about Glasgow? I’m biased as it’s my city but it’s excellent for a night out

I say Sheffield! Great nightlife- really cheap and if you wanted something to do in the day theres meadowhall for shopping or of course the peak district for walking or exploring depending on what you want to do.

I second Manchester. It’s an amazing city, though slightly biased as lived here all my life.

Seriously though, its definitely worth considering. It has everything pretty much everything you could want really close together.

York is a great one I’ve been to three there, I’ll also second Leeds and Manchester. Easy to get to by train too x

Liverpool is a friendly city, great nights out and the shopping and restaurants in Liverpool One are fab.

There are some good places to stay near Liverpool One, there is a very clean Premier Inn or a more upmarket Novotel right in town. FH and I recently stayed at Posh Pads apartments at the Casartelli, they would be great for a girls weekend as they have wine fridges in the kitchens 🙂

What about Bath, you could do a spa day and then cocktails. Not ‘cheap’ but better value than London.

Cambridge is lovely, you can go punting in the day and then out at night! Or you could do the college tours which are really good x

I second York-it’s got lots of yummy tea rooms for the day time, nice bars for the evening and then an amazing Chinese restaurant that turns into a cheesy nightclub should the mood take you.

I also went to a really fun hen do in Brighton a couple of years ago, so I can recommend that too.

123.srussell:  we did a butlins adult only 90s weekend – worked out £90 each for 3 nights and it was awesome!
