My mom used to dye her hair with Henna all the time she used to use this product all the time Nestle Egyptian see pic below, without any problems and very little to no mess. The color looks great, she used to use black all the time.

I’ve been dying my hair with henna for about two years. I really like it. I usually get mind off of hennasooq.com, but there is a Whole Foods here that carries henna in their bulk section, so sometimes I just get it there. It is pretty messy, but it’s not too hard to clean up. Your shower will just look pretty muddy after you rinse it out. I usually use a cheap conditioner when I’m rinsing it out, and it comes out pretty quickly.

It doesn’t damage your hair at all, and it has actually thickened and conditioned mine quite a bit.

The only thing is that it is a pretty big commitment. It won’t come out, and it won’t lighten if you’re not happy with the color, so be sure you’re ready to make the leap.

I’m happy to answer any other questions!

My hair is dark brown, and I get this nice chocolate cherry color:

I used Henna to go back to my natural brown after a mishap with some bleach. Worked just fine, it was kind of a pain to mix though.

My SIL does this.  She has strawberry blonde hair and dies it reddish with henna.  It looks great.  I think it’s a little bit of a mess but her hair looks great.  I know my brother helps her get it even on the back of her hair.  It’s definitely worth a try!

LadyMonster:

Hi dear,

I originally asked you which brand you used but you had already answered (my mistake^^)

Then, could you tell me how often you had to dye and if the color easily faded or not.. If you think of anything more to add, feel free!

Thank you! 🙂
