Anyone ever try the legal stuff? I knew a guy (my friend’s dad) who lived up on banana road in Montecito (upscale aging hippy/yuppy area) and he used to brew all sorts of concotions. Anyone ever do that? I want to make my honeymoon/wedding night really special…
so random; I’m glad this is anonymous

No I don’t, but I do think your wedding night will be really special.. I mean it’s your wedding night?
On the flip side, always kinda wanted to try something myself, so let me know how it goes.

I would not recommend these products. Please beware.
I’ve had patients who came to me because of issues with this type of herbal and/or energy drinks.
Here is a link that may make you think twice:

O I’m not looking for anything crazy, you know when you drink an herbal tea to calm down, I’m thinking more along those lines. I would never use something that could overstimulate me, or have a drug like effect. I was thinking more of a mild aphrodisiac.

I don’t think I would experiment with something like that on your wedding night. Is it supposed to simulate real ecstasy, or is it just one of those sexual enhancer sort of products?

Thanks doctorgirl for the link! You are so helpful.
I was thinking even like food: champagne and strawberries, oysters, chocolate. That usually works. I’ll make room for it on the honeymoon…

I went to a ‘sex-show’ last year and there was a booth there with all types of ‘herbal’ pills. there were scantly clad dressed girls selling these ‘herbal ecstacy’ pills, as well as ‘herbal viagra’ type pills and all this stuff and you should have seen how many people were going crazy for them! they weren’t cheap either! I was just like…really?

I’m with DG on this one. Some diet pills have recently been shown to cause liver and kidney damage.
I would not fool around with a "nutra-ceutical". Some are more potent than you could imagine. I saw a woman who used too much of one supplement (either xenadrine or stacker or something) and she ended up with acute kidney failure and her creatinine was thru the roof. It made her not eat..but sadly, NOT drink very much either for days on end.
