Wow. If these are your “NOs”, I can’t wait to see what your “YES” will look like!

Well first off, let me say you look great in all of them, but I believe your dress is still out there.
I tried on over 40 NOs before finding my dress. As of this week I had 4 awesome options. My parents and sister came and saw them with me, and I was able to decide on MY dress.
Think about what you like about each of the dresses and what you don’t like. Try something on that is TOTALLY outside the box. The dress that ended up being “the one” for me was totally different than what I had set out for.
My original wish list:
fitted, lace or organza, trumpet or A-line, flowy and romantic, with some detailing and straps
what I ended up with:
Silk Satin, clean & plain top, draped bottom in almost a ballgown shape and strapless
So don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone.
Also, I had to try “the dress” on a few times with different people to realize it was “the dress”.

I love the first one 🙂 Would need to be adjusted to fit your waist and hips of course. You wear all of them well, but the others are not really my style, especially #2.
Looks like you’re looking at a number of different styles and it’s a good idea to keep experimenting until you have a pretty feel for what you’re looking for. You still have plenty of time, just don’t stress and enjoy the process.

I loved the 2nd one too, but my dad saw the pic and referred to this dress as a “puked up box of tissues.. :(” I laugh about it I am not sad. I have a particular dress in mind that I had to order the sample from the shop. The lady called this morning to tell me that it would be here in a week. I think this one will definetly be “the one”

I said NO to over 50 dresses over 30 of which looked perfectly lovely on me. I mean other people stopping me, friends gasping and I said ummm Nope. I tried on lower end couture (Augusta Jones, Melissa Sweet, etc) High end mid range (Enzoani, Pronovias, Casablanca) and many many mid range designers. I ended up spending only half my budget on a Mia Solano that I loved the dress, loved the way the dress looked on me, fit the theme of the wedding and mostly fit my personality.
KEEP SAYING NO until you find the dress that screams yes!!!

@amberdawn1064: haha dontcha just love dads?! I can’t wait to see the dress you will be trying on this week! Crossing my fingers for you!

@amberdawn1064: Good luck with that one! Can’t wait to see it.
I like the idea of dress #2, but I don’t think the execution of it is right. I love the idea of a fun skirt and a ruched top, but the top on #2 is ruched a little strange for my taste.
Your dress is out there.

I like #2. Can’t wait to see your yes!
