I held my dad’s arm.  I was really nervous and holding onto his arm gave me more support!

I walked down the aisle with both my Mom and Dad.  My father took my arm because I was holding my bouquet on that side and my Mom took my hand because it was free.  Perfect for us, because I’m MUCH closer to my Mom.

Something seems weird to me about holding your best friend’s hand as you walk down the aisle to your Fiance.

I dunno. I would only hold hands if my Fiance walk in together, not with my mom or dad. I can’t imagine it!

@Mrs.Firefly1:  I don’t mean to imply that its a sexy thing, I just haven’t held hands with anyone but my Fiance and little niece and nephew in like…10 years? Not my mom or dad or sisters. I think I associate it either with romance or protection, nothing else, so it would not work for me.

You do not want to have your heart breaking as you walk down the aisle, linking arms. So take that boy’s hand!

@Mrs.Firefly1:  I didn’t even think about it…too many other things to be considering, as well as your emotions at the moment.  Just enjoy that walk down the aisle!!
