twodresswedding : So crazy they missed O twice! I hope this is your lucky one! Looking forward to your update 🙂 🙂
BOGB : Thanks for sharing! Gives me hope 🙂
futuremrssquiggs : Oh Squiggs, I’ve missed you! How are you? And the LO?! I am on Gonal-F and Ovidrel this cycle.
Jellybones : Thank you! Same to you!
candy11 : Thanks so much. I hope you are well!
LilliV : Thanks so much! I hope you are well! Xo
Kabatchy2be : Hi friend!! Thank you!
ruby26 : Congratulations! I hope I have your luck! I’m mentally preparing for 4-5 IUIs too, but hope so badly for a surprise.
hogoboom2012 : Thank you! Congrats! Yes, trying injectables again. I was on the lowest dose (37.5) and had only 1 follicle for TI in July. Not sure of dosage yet for this cycle but hoping for 2-3 good follies this time around!
captsweatpants : Thank you! Congratulations!

HaaaveYouMetTed : hi! I was diagnosed with unexplained infertility after over a year of trying without a single positive test. I am now 39 weeks with a little boy after my first medicated IUI. The RE had me on 100 mg of Clomid for 3 days, followed by a Gonal-F injection and an Ovidrel trigger. Good luck to you!

HaaaveYouMetTed : Good luck!! I had a similar situation with the only red flag being my husband’s morphology, but count and everything else looked great. Let me tell you, the washing they do for IUI is amazing. Even with 2% morphology we ended up having an amazing sample (like 99% perfect swimmers) once they got rid of those little dud spermies. My first IUI, I had some weird problem and failed to ovulate. The second one was clomid+gonal f+novarel trigger and it worked! The process was not too bad, and it actually felt exciting to be more active in TTC all month long instead of waiting to ovulate then waiting to see if it worked and waiting and waiting. I hope it works great for you!

HaaaveYouMetTed : I am so glad you have a plan, and I have good thoughts for you! How is your business with hubby going?….We are good. Baby Adam came three weeks early, so he is 2 weeks old now and I am feeling good after c-section!

HaaaveYouMetTed : Best of luck! I know you guys have been at it (no pun intended) for a long time, I sadly remember when you had your first loss :(. I am so hopeful the first time is the charm for you! Sending lots of fertile vibes your way….but not TOO fertile…I’m assuming you don’t want quintuplets? 😉

Just sending love and cheers for you — glad to see you back, and tons of good sticky vibes your way!

futuremrssquiggs : So glad to hear it! Just wondering – did you happen to share your birth story somewhere? Would love to read it! Business is going great, just SO BUSY. Great problem to have I suppose!
MrsAKSkier : Thanks so much! Feels like it’s been an eternity since we started trying! Starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.. I hope anyway. Yes, fertile but not TOO fertile lol!
I heard from my nurse this afternoon. Bloods and U/S look great and I’m all clear to start injections tomorrow night! The upped my dose to 50 IU instead of the 37.5 like last time, so I’m hoping to get 2-3 good follies!

HaaaveYouMetTed : I would like to hear more about your experience with injection meds. Is there are reason why they chose injection meds over clomid/femara, or have you already tried those without success? Fingers crossed 2-3 good follies 😉

twodresswedding : To be honest, I’m not sure. I think my RE usually does injections over Clomid just because it’s a little “more aggressive” and they tend to have more success with injections… from what I gathered from our meeting in April. I haven’t tried Clomid (or any oral FSH for that matter). We’ve done one cycle of injections in June with TI and that was unsuccessful. This is our second cycle trying injections at a slightly higher dose than last time (37.5 IU last time with 1 follie; 50 IU this time I think hoping for 2-3) and first cycle trying IUI.
The injections aren’t bad. I couldn’t do them at first, but one night I was forced to because Darling Husband was working. Once you get over the mental aspect of it, it’s a breeze!

Hey! So happy to see you back on the boards. Sending you heaps of baby dust for this cycle, please keep us updated and I hope it all goes well. You guys are so deserving of a little one after such a long wait.

bubbycakes : Sorry I’m just seeing this! Thank you 🙂 I hope you and LO are doing well! You have to be getting close to meeting her, right?!
UPDATE: I have two follies on my right, one at 18 mm and one at 23 mm, so I’m hoping to trigger tonight and (hopefully) go in tomorrow for IUI!
