I think you may be fixating on the neckline issue. I don’t think the dress would benefit from that change and honestly, the dress you have is lovlier than the one with the sweetheart neckline. You have a stunning dress that you look beautiful in. Even if it’s not what you thought you wanted, you are still going to be a beautiful bride. Focus on that, not your disappointment.

@bump: I could get the second dress but I won’t do it. I am hoping that after alterations it will look better and I wont feel as bad. I am thin but I do have curves and it feels like this dress is not showing them off! I think its all the boning! :-/
@CBetta Bride: Thank you 🙂
@fresitachulita: I think that is exactly why I like the second dress better. I don’t think its the style as much but the fit. Do you think a wearing a waist cincher with my dress would help? Maybe it would give me more curves? The second dress had a corset which I had the consultent tie very tight.
@littlepossum: Thank you. I would not change my dress at this point. It would be too risky since my wedding is two months away. Any suggestions on how I can make mine look better?
@mistyeyes: She actually suggested pinching the bodice but I am not sure of how that will look.
@Kimmybean: Thank you. I think it is a pretty dress but I want to look curvier.
@katie914: Thank you! You are too sweet! I will be taking it to another seamstress for a second opinion.
@cdncinnamongirl: Thank you 🙂 I think the best thing would be to remove some of the poof if it feels uncomfortable. I like how its dramatic at the bottom but I want to have fun on my wedding day too…
@ticatica: Thank you. You are absolutely right. In the end I will be marrying my best friend and it doesn’t matter what I have on. I guess it is just that I bought this dress and knew I wanted to change the neckline. I felt dress regret the day after I bought it and was unable to cancel or change the order. I’m sure my fiance will love anything I wear and I need to remember that 🙂

Can any bees photoshop a sweetheart to my dress? I want to see what it looks like

*breathe* I think the one you picked is much nicer than the alternative – and you knew this somewhere in your gut when you made the decision.
Sweetheart necklines are lovely, but a bit over-done, and it really suits the dress as is!

Ok, so today I am feeling better about my dress. I know it will look better once it fits and I have my jewelry and veil on. Like every bride, I just want to look beautiful on my wedding day. I will keep everyone updated 🙂
@bricon: You are right. I made an appointment with another seamstress. It was a bit annoying. She kept trying to talk me into getting another dress! When I told her I wanted a bustle she told me to go look around for another dress first. I know she meant well but it was not necessary.

No don’t sell it! Even though you can’t have your sweethears neckline, don’t go off your dress as it really does suit you, it looks amazing and you really suit the lace (even though I love lace dresses, I couldn’t pull it off). Don’t hate me but comparing the two I think one of the resons why your dress suits you is because it isn’t a sweetheart neckline.

You’re at karoza, aren’t you? I’m surprised they aren’t able Make it sweetheart. That actually is a fairlyeasy task from what I hear. Also. If u didn’t want a reception dress, don’t get one. Just get a bustle made. I have a suggestion for an alterations place. Email [email protected] for details.

Hi! I have tried on this dress and so far its my number 1 choice. I know what you mean about wanting to look like a woman though. The only thing that kept me from purchasing it on the spot was that darn neckline! I took pictures at the salon and printed them out. I was AMAZED with the skirt!! It is really gorgeous! The lace looked amazing and I am not a professional photographer. But the only thing that bothered me was the neckline. I have a pretty small chest and I felt like the dress made me look kinda flat. Don’t get me wrong….it did not look bad at all, its just more of a personal preference. Since you are so close to the wedding and dont really want to alter it at this point, maybe you could find a great undergarment! And you are absolutely right, the dress will look amazing with the jewelry and veil. I will try and post the pics of me wearing the dress. I think it looks great on you!

@cosmo_girl: I spoke to a few girls with my dress and they were able to alter the neckline. I will be taking my dress to another seamstress next week 🙂
