Beautiful! Glad to see you got something that makes you really happy! 🙂
tbenjamin4884 : You’re so welcome! I’m super happy and excited for you. It’s funny, because I really loved your pear. I thought it looked amazing on you. But the moment I saw pics of your new round, I was like, “Oh, yeah! That is exactly, perfectly, perfect!” Does that even make sense? LOL
The new stone looks so amazing in your photos. I can’t get over the sparkle. You made an amazing find with this stone, and I’m sure it is even more gorgeous in person.
tbenjamin4884 : Hey girlfriend! I hopped on today hoping for an update from you and here she is…and believe me she does not disappoint! Your ring is gorgeous! I have loved all your rings from your marquise,to your round solitaire,to your pear…they all looked gorgeous on you! It’s just something about this near colorless H color round on your setting that’s a perfect combo! I also love the way that setting with the double row looks like the wedding band is built on! So with that being said do you feel like you have finally found “the one”?
lovesbooks99 : Thank you sweet darling.
longtimemrs : Makes so much sense and you literally stole the words right out of my mouth. I LOVED the pear so much, and it really was such a beautiful stone. BUT it just didn’t feel me, I cant explain. I have such manly hands and I always envision pears on very feminine hands and I had this concern when I first was contemplating it, but I just went for it because it was so beautiful, and even though it didn’t match match my hand I still thought it was so pretty and I had hopes to put it in a halo, but it kept scratching my son, the halo was going to cost $1000 and I didn’t want to do that immediately and of course it just didn’t match my hand and there were a few other things, but I am much happier with this round and I think I will be for a long time 🙂 thank you so much for such kind and loving words, this is why I love sharing my rings and seeing everyone elses, there is so much love 🙂 xoxo
redearthlady : Hi my beautiful friend! You know I genuinely loved them all too. I feel so self conscious about all the rings I have went through, but I had such high hopes for all of them and I genuinely LOVED them all some I loved more and grew to not care for them, and some I just felt I regretted almost immediately. So my bouncing from ring to ring was something I DID NOT find cute in fact I was so embarrassed this last time I could barely look at my poor jeweler. He is so kind and beyond accommodating and has too much class to ever make me feel bad, but I can honestly say this time… that this diamond as it sits is the one for a long time… The pear even though I loved it very much I didn’t like how it was set and regretted not doing a halo immediately. It was set super high, per my request, but it was literally dangerous. Then I noticed a small carbon spot that once I saw it I could not UNSEE it and it haunted me. I was able to look past it, but when I kept scratching my son that was the final straw lol. And of course my giant man hands didn’t help matters AT ALL. My heart lies with rounds and my last round before the pear was just too dark and had a deep cut. My poor jeweler. He would always tell me to be patient and wait for the right stone to come and I would never listen I did the same thing with this latest one, I just lucked out that it was a very beautiful stone. Thank you for being so kind, for being so supportive and helpful and for never making me feel insane… :):):) Are you working no any projects these days? Any cheap stone finds?
tbenjamin4884 : I totally understand. When you want to love something and you cant it’s hard. Eventually you start nick picking at the problems with it and you cant ignore them. I’m so glad you seem so happy with this stone. It has the perfect amount of warmth and depth. I prefer my stones near colorless so its gorgeous to me. The cut also looks alot better than your last round.I dont think you have man hands(I wear a size 7 myself) I just think we see alot of unusually small hands on here and it skews our reality. I think the round flatters your hand and setting much better than the pear. If you can post some profile pics so I can see how high it sits. As for me I’m not planning a new project right now. I’m actually enjoying wearing my plain band alot now. I am contemplating however resetting my solitaire in to a pave band with matching wedding band but I cant decide which metal color I want it in or which color flatters my skin tone more. I love them all and tri color gold pieces are a staple in my jewelry wardrobe. I’m also thinking of maybe going on a lil diamond hint of my own and potentially looking for a emerald or asscher cut to ser in a pave cathedral setting with matching band but once again i cant decide on gold color…decisions, decisions but I am taking suggestions!😝🤭😂
Gorgeous! look at that sparkle! 😀
redearthlady : I love all your pieces, I would love to see you piece together an emerald then I can live vicariously through you! 🙂 I am sooo happy to hear you say you feel the round looks better than the pear. it just makes me feel like I made the right choice. I know its so ridiculous, but I really am second guessing everything about my ring because of all my switching. I will upload a side profile, I lowered it quite a bit, in fact Ill upload a side pic of the pear and my new round. All in all the round is just way more suitable for me. I love all your rings. I wish I could just have joint custody with you of all your pieces LOL. I think your skin tone is so amazing and can carry any color gold. I cant wear rose gold it immediately turns freaking ORANGE on me! And even though you say I don’t have man hands, I cant help but already hate them and then to have an orange gold ring just makes it worse. But you can wear it all 🙂 All your pieces are amazing. What do you prefer out of the colors,, if you had to chose just one gold color what would it be? I actually love rose and yellow gold, white just suits my funky hands best lol
Here are a few side pics of the round and the pear the height is much lower on the round. I love high set rings I requested the pear that way, but after having it that high I am very happy I lowered it. I don’t think the round is set “low” I think its just right. In fact I would still say it is set probably more on the high side vs the low side, which is fine with me 🙂
tbenjamin4884 : Dont second guess. Your ring was beautiful before but its beautiful and wearable now. The lower profile along with the round not having the sharp point of the pear makes it a win, win. I also think the jeweler did a better job setting this round stone! It’s funny because I love all colors if gold equally and I kind of have a skin tone that I can wear pretty much all of them and get away with it. I’m debating if I should stick with a classic and go with white gold, try something new and go with yellow because none of my sets are yellow,or go with rose…well because its pink and in some ways I’m very girly. Funny you speak of jewelry joint custody because I love alot of pieces here and yours is one of them! It has just the right amount of bling. The thing is I’m kind of getting out if the halo thing as much as i love bling,i love my solitaire but it needs that extra something, something and I think maybe a pave solitaire or solitaire with some kind of sidestones may be the perfect medium. I’m just taking my time, thinking it out because I want to make my next move my best move and pick a piece that will hopefully be lifelong. I will keep you updated on it. I’m really on the step cut wagon again so an emerald cut or asscher is my forerunner right now. I will keep you updated on my progress.
Oooo what a beauty! Congratulations!
