tjncali : Aw, I didn’t see those replies, then. Yes! I get excited seeing others in colour gowns, but seeing more blue brides makes me even more so! Your gown is absolutely beautiful in that blue grey with the beading! 😍 If you have a full length photo or even a stock photo, I’d love to see it! What are you thinking for accessories? Feel free to share it in my coloured gowns thread though, if you prefer this thread to be about your bridesmaids only.
If it helps you, I’m thinking to have my Maid of Honor in a medium blue since I am in light blue or blush to contrast more. We were both thinking perhaps a gold or rose gold metallic, depending on what suits her.
Depending on your other wedding or theme colors, any of those colours would contrast beautifully with you, bee! If your heart is leaning more towards the wine, maroon red, here is some inspiration.

Ok / but there is a color cast where they photographed it. I have to get it outside and properly shot.

What an amazing dress! Do not have bridesmaid in anything like the same colour! I wouldn’t have sequins or sparkles either , as your gown has that vintage metallic embellishment . Long, of course ,and floaty.

tjncali : Wow! It’s such a unique, blue wedding gown. That’s gorgeous, and I love the floaty, romantic skirt with the train! The whole dress is stunning!
What did you think of the wine red, and dusty blue colour ideas? Is that more what you had in mind? I would have considered them if I was set on autumn because, I love how they look together. I am sure I can find you blue, and different greys too, if you would like to see other ideas.

theambereyed1 : so funny, I had this in my Pinterest. I found a dressmaker today that is able to tailor the dress to my liking more. I prefer less skirt…and a sleeve. We are collab’ing now on designs that work with the dress. I think it will help also with solidifying the dress color and style. I’m not a fairly godmother dress wearer – lol.

tjncali : I already commented but just wanted to pop back in and say that after much consideration over the weekend, I still think burgandy bridesmaids dresses would be amazeballs. The beading on your dress evokes a soft gothic feel, and a deep red color would enhance that mood beautifully.
theambereyed1 : Yaaaaasssss! Great visuals!

tjncali: Really? That’s funny you pinned them. The colours are so crisp for a nice, autumn look. Oh, wow! I didn’t realize you were altering the dress that much. What type of sleeves do you want? If you want a less full skirt, I bet your seamstress could take some fabric from the skirt for your sleeves if you like the material.
Miss-Mauverick : Thanks, bee! 😊
