What about something like this

It has a slight curve to it to accomodate the “notch.”

Yeah I know what you mean, when I choose a wedding band I will want something “straight” that can be worn alone. However, I’ve seen a lot of bees with curved bands because it’s more important for them to not have a gap between the rings.

I kinda like a gap to be honest! It separates the two rings and allows them to each stand out from each other.

I think you should get something with milgrain detailing to match the sides of your e-ring, like this or even this one would be really unique!

Here’s my ering:

and the band I’m getting:

They dont’ fit flush, but they match, both having pave & millgrain on all three sides.  There is a contour version, but it has diamonda only on the top.  Like you, I didn’t want to block the view of the diamonds on the sides, and actually the gap that the basket causes let you see between the rings, so it’s perfect.

I know that this is a horrible picture, but I wanted something I could wear by itself also. And I actually love the look of a gap between the rings. The wedding band actually sits lower than my Engagement Ring so I didn’t lose the detail on the side.

I think you could wear Melanie422’s first suggestion alone actually, it’s not as dramatically notched as some bands…but I love her third suggestion the best!

I was in your same boat, and will have a ‘gap’ because I want the option of wearing my band by itself too.

here’s what I got:

i love the look of the ring sets with the curved band around them,  but there are times i would probably wear just my wedding band on its own, like decorating or baking or gardening…..just to keep it from getting messed up.  and the curved ones are not so appealing to me if worn by themselves.
