Pale pink and chiffon would look great I think!

satin is not a good look one me. I think the chiffon would be more flattering on a variety of body types.  I also would go for a light pink or taupe.  You just have to be careful that the color of the taupe doesn’t wash people out.  Ugh so much to think about!

OnceUponATime:  How many girls do you have? What about mismatched styles? I LOVE the look of mismatched dresses!

I kind of look at mismatched dresses in a specific way: There are four categories – length, style, color, and fabric. I feel that if you have TWO or THREE constants, the rest can vary and still look beautiful and well-put-together. Example: You know your length, and let’s say you choose chiffon fabric. Each girl can choose a long chiffon gown in one of your three colors (all three look beautiful together!) in their own style, and would be stunning. OR. You could also choose the color (say, pink), and let them just choose their own style in a long pink chiffon gown… you’d still get variations, the girls would each have a say in their own dress, and all would be happy and gorgeous!

Another example: if you have three (or six) girls, you could pick the length, style, and fabric, and put each girl in a different color (pink, brown, taupe.. or two in each if you have 6 girls). Since the styles would look the same, it would be just the color mismatched, and would still look put-together and lovely. 🙂

@OnceUponATime:  That dress you posted is really pretty – but is it pink?  Looks pretty taupe.  I agree that a light pink would be gorgeous.

I really love your theme/inspiration board!  So dreamy!

@OnceUponATime: Your inspirations don’t look 100% pink to me…they look like maybe a chiffon (flowy, dreamy), but in a pink/lavender mix

I LOVE the idea of mismatched blush bridesmaid dresses!!  We’re doing mismatched dresses too, but I’ll just have my sis and his sis as BMs.  Check out this google image search

This thread has a lot of pix of other brides’ mismatched dresses (some pix are gone though cause it’s old).

@OnceUponATime:  I was in a wedding a while ago and we tried the mixing idea…at first it sounded terrific, but as the main person trying to help, it was a bit of a nightmare being careful how things went together…and then left us dealing with the groomsmen ‘matching’ afterward too…

@OnceUponATime:  Yep…the dresses were from the same line…still hard to figur out the groomsmen…unless you have an alternate scheme for them…maybe all taupe ties etc regardless of what the bridesmaids wear.
