79 days and counting to the big day, and I took the time today to put together my final “look” so I could get a visual of how it would all come together.
And I must say, I’m pretty excited seeing it all come together in one place… Now the invitations are sent, the rsvp’s will be coming in… and I’m getting giddy!

Very cute! I can totally picture it!

Love your dress! Gorgeous!

Fiance will be wearing the ivory vest combo, while our GM’s are wearing the pale “honeydew” green. BM’s will be in the Victoria’s Secret “Flirty Convertible Dress” in chocolate brown.
I am in love with my purple jewel-toned shoes (finally! something with the right height heel in a color that works, and sparkly on the toe!). The birdcage veil and flower fascinator combined with chunky pearl jewelry – totally finding that vintagey look I was hoping for…
We’ll arrive in a 1939 Cadillac Limousine (http://www.antique-limousine.com) to our outdoor ceremony overlooking the bay and the Boston skyline. Big band love songs will play as people seat themselves. Upon arrival of the girls, one Bridesmaid or Best Man will play her violin (“Over the Rainbow”) as she and the other BM’s proceed down the aisle. I will walk down to her violin solo of “It Had to be You” (though that may change, who knows).
Fiance and I will exchange vows on a crisp September afternoon before heading 1/2 mile down the street to our 1980’s Nintendo Wedding Reception!!!

Who is the designer of your dress? I love it! (Mine is VERY similar- it just has a v-neck back instead of the buttons).

My dress is actually from David’s Bridal, I had my seamstress alter the front to look like the one in the pic above. LOVE the v-back, I may have to ask her to do that too!! Haha!
The necklace is from John Lewis department store – I bought it when I was in England on business. With the conversion, the necklace and earrings came out to under $50. You can get it (AND a matching bracelet!!!) at http://www.johnlewis.com!
The cake topper was an Etsy find, and I also got the hair flower fascinator and birdcage veil on Etsy as well from “Brenda’s Bridal Veils.”
The shoes were at http://www.macys.com, $49. They are the “Karen Scott – Delta” and come in purple, black, brown and red. I looked for a heel under 3″ because my Fiance is 5’8″ and I’m 5’4″, so for pics I wanted to be shorter than him. I wanted a pop of color, and some sparkle if possible – these fit the bill AND the price was right!
