- Wedding: March 2012
After ordering his suit from Indochino, ScottSouth realized that a cotton suit didn’t exactly do it for him. He just felt like he looked “OK”. Um, what? “OK”? Oh, hell no. I couldn’t have my man looking in the mirror on his wedding day, shrugging his shoulders, and proclaiming his attire “OK”. I feel FANTASTIC in my dress. He deserved to feel the same! His best friend and I badgered him into a suit-shopping expedition, and eventually we realized that the best option would be a custom-made suit. At first he was adamantly opposed. Then curious. Then he was excited. And after several weeks, it’s finally here. He went to try it on at the tailor’s and…
Well, I don’t know! He was all excited before for me to see it. But now, because it looks so good, he won’t let me see it until the wedding day! Apparently it’s so wonderful that he has to hide it from me. You know, bride-style.
Has anyone else’s Fiance done this? Kept you in suspense about his outfit until the day of the wedding?
Just because I think it’s funny, this is his head Photoshopped onto the Indochino model’s body. We also changed the tie and pocket square to their proper colors and added on a boutonniere.
