Not sure if it helps, but I believe you can easily turn a yellow gold ring into a white gold ring by applying a coating to it.  I looked into doing this for one of my great-grandma’s rings and was told that it was easy to do and inexpensive

Oh how exciting.  You don’t have big fingers because I wear a size 7 so I don’t think their big.  I just love antique rings especially with antique diamonds.  I can’t wait to see a pic soon.

I hope you love it just the way it is! I’m glad you have options though! This would be nerve-wracking for me but I’m a control freak πŸ™‚

Aww! I love that he was already thinking about his future with you, and that he was able to sweetly surprise you about wanting to use his grandmother’s ring. πŸ™‚

@bryanneb61: Sounds like progress. TealaB is right, it’s an easy process, I even had a jeweler coated an earring for me free of charge.

I would find some sneaky way of letting him know this so when you get the final product its ready for wear. I’m sure getting it re-sized too is no big problem.

Oh yes, it can be re-sized and coated so easily.  No problem! How exciting πŸ™‚
