I looooove this thread! I couldn’t wait to post mine!
I had major dress regret which the Hive really helped me with. In the end, I am super happy with the way everything turned out. Here is my before and some afters from the preview we received from our photographer. . .

When I picked up my dress before alterations…I was not all that happy because I had gained weight and the back privacy panel wouldn’t fasten 🙁 And I went in scared to death that was going to happen!!
Thankfully, I lost weight! My seamstress could have fixed it, and they said it was because it wasn’t laced up properly at the salon…either way, it fit perfectly on our wedding day 🙂 This is the only place I started crying…
And my friend/BM was doing some “getting ready” photos, and got this one of my sister (MOH), me, and my mom.

There are some seriously pretty dresses/ladies out there. @MrsPaulsBabyBallerina I love yours. Love. It’s the style I didn’t get … but I had a hard time with that decision.

This is the first time I tried it on…

And here I am on the big day (pro pic, credit to Aevum)
It turned out more beautifully than I ever imagined it would. 🙂

I have loved seeing all of the photos and now I finally get to join in! I added a v neck balero to the dress (the store custome makes… already basic templates… for each bride oh and this was only a few hundred more than the equilivant dress at DB but that did not include alterations, who knew a custom lace dress could be in the same range)

everyone’s dresses are so beautiful! I love this thread!! It’s been 5 months (woah) since we said “i do” but I thought I would throw mine up as well…
Before: (the sample dress , standing on a pedestal and not the sash I ended up with…but I was SO close to buying it…
and after…on the best day EVER 🙂
I also had the back lowered and buttons added…I seriously couldn’t have loved my dress – and the overall “look” any more….now if I could just find a reason to re-wear it all 😉
