I don’t have a before, but I’ll play! We ended up special ordering my dress because at the time it was only made for certain size girls and I’m a bit larger than that! It was my dream dress! (The lady that took our pictures didn’t really do a great job, so they aren’t the best quality)

Oh yey! I finally get to join this thread! πŸ™‚ I second guessed my dress a lot but I stuck with it and in the end, it turned out great! It went through a long process but I’ll just do a before and after.

Your dresses are so beautiful…I kind of have post-wedding dress envy!  Here are my pics.  I put the sash on for the reception when I took off my veil, which is why some of the afte pics have a sash and some don’t.

@KathPuj:  I love the cap sleeves!! But you keep saying “bolero” so is it a bolero??

@howtobeawife:  Thank you! πŸ™‚ Actually it’s not a bolero, you’re right. I wanted a bolero but instead I had a local seamstress add the stretch tulle sleeves with sparkly beads on it. It’s hand stitched to the gown so it would be easy to remove if I wanted πŸ™‚

I love this thread! Here’s mine:

Saying “yes” to the dress… (this is a couple sizes too small, so the breast covereage is not the best)

And the day of! I made a few alterations… removable sleeves…

And an extensive bustle – I like to dance!!
