@vyan:   Thank you!  Yes its the Ines Di Santo ” Cameo” gown. It was 5 thousand dollars, the veil was another 450. Expensive– but it’s so unusual and for the setting I thought it would be perfect. Also, my husband *really* loved it when we were shopping for dresses ,his opinion mattered to me too.

I think this is my favorite thread!  It’s so cool seeing the non-professional dress shopping/fitting pictures compared to the professional wedding day photos.  What a difference!!!  You’re all so stunning.

I initially had dress regret, too, due in large part to how I looked in the pics taken of me in the sample the day I ordered it.  My appointment was after work, so my hair looked crappy, I had no makeup on, and I wasn’t wearing a bra in the pics (low backed dress).  I looked frumpty frump & worried about my decision for weeks!  Finally, I decided that I had to be sure I didn’t made a mistake in ordering the dress that I did, so I made another appointment to try on the sample, did my hair a little nicer, put on makeup, and kept my bra on (Cool), and absolutely LOVED the dress.  I fell in love all over again & was sure I made the right decision!  I highly recommend this to anyone who’s agonizing over dress regret.

I think mine looked better in the store than the day of the wedding because my sister and bridesmaid had trouble with the corset.

From the last dress fitting.

The pro photographer didn’t get a full length shot of just me, so this is one a friend took.
