I never wanted a ball gown, my dream dress was the Sophia Tolli Jackie…but now I’m delving into the world of ball gowns and Allure Bridals seem to get me more than any other designer I’ve seen. These gowns have some of what I’m looking for, I want bling on the bodice and the skirt. Feel free to share any photos that may fit the discription of : sparkle, beading, and bling please – I like sweetheart corsets and draping skirts.

Love them both! You really should try them on tho because they may look different on your body. XO

Love the second one. Not a big fan of the peek-a-boo skirt on the first dress because it seems a little dated, but that’s a personal preference.

Definitely prefer the second one…

I prefer the bodice of the second one, but if I may be honest, I really don’t like the flowers on the bottom of two. I picked 2 despite this.

OMG I love both of those! My heart actually skipped a beat when I saw the first one, so I voted for that, but if the other one had been the first one I saw I probably would have voted for that lol they are both utterly beautiful!! This is the style I will be going for.

If I have to pick between the two, I voted for the first one, although I’m not that crazy about either of them personally and I don’t really like the flowers on the skirt.. but my taste is more like this:

@futuremrsk18: That first one is great. I’m all about the clean lines.

@subjunctivitis: Yea, but I wasn’t sure if you would like it because there was no bling on the skirt, but I kinda like that about the dress. Plus, I’m sure you can add some rhinestones to the skirt if your heart so desires. If I see anymore blingy ballgowns, I’ll be sure to keep this thread in mind! Keep us posted if you buy your dress. 🙂

I voted for the first one, I have a bad taste in my mouth for the goofyish tulle flowers on the 2nd.. And the first has a very revolutionary period feel to it.. Back when gowns were glorious!

@futuremrsk18: Ohhh I LOVE the first one there!! I Love the simple (yet elaborate?? if that makes sense) skirt with a blingy top. Gorgeous!
