    1-3 are nice. 4-6 are, IMO, awful.

    I just had a boring ‘ole french mani on my wedding day.

    ETA: With your edit, my vote still stops at #3.

    I love #3 but not necessarily for the wedding. I did something similar to that in pink with silver glitter from Sally Hansen nail stickers a few weeks ago.

    ETA: I also like #5.

    I am just doing french with maybe a silver line… I am very much tradtional when it comes to my nails LOL.  I do love those nails though, especially the colors and designs.  I think the last 2 would be too much for me.

    None of the above. I did a simple french mani, and that’s really all I like for manicures. Otherwise, I usually keep my nails unpolished (occasionally, I do polish, but it’s rare).

    I don’t get my nails done usually.  Sometimes I will paint them myself (poorly).  I have been debating what I want to have done for the wedding.  It is possible I’ll go with the french mani, though I never really thought of the 1 and 2 options you have pictures of above and they actually are pretty cute.

    3 is where I draw the line 4and5 are OK just not my style. 6 and beyond, IMO are awful and would clash with me, my dress, and my personality. ugh

    #3 is my favorite.  #2 is a close second.  #1 would be my third choice.

    4 & 6 aren’t my style; 5 seems too casual.  7 & 8 clash with my style and my personality so badly that I would never even consider them.

    I plan to either do a french manicure or just one solid color – probably red.

    @mrsotg:  Same here.

    I may do a “new-nude” for the wedding. Like a mauve or taupe color. I’m scared a French manicure would chip.

    I never liked “chunky”/busy nails for fancy events, which I’d classify 4, 6, 7, and 8 as being.

    5, I think crackle polish is a good polish, but many times it doesn’t look clean and put together.  It can, but it’s rare that I’ve seen it.

    Personally, I’d go with 2 or 3.  I like plain polish, but I love a glitter top coat.  I think it’s because while I consider the others busy, a glitter top adds a bit of sparkle, but doesn’t seem like it’s fighting for your attention.

    I have a color similar to 2 that I’ve been meaning to use… I was surprised to be brown nail polish, I couldn’t leave it in the store.
