@Hiswife2be:  I bought three dresses since a sample gown store was selling their clearance gowns for $25 each!! I’ll only be wearing two of them, though.

I have one dress! My wedding dress is super light (maybe a couple of pounds) and amazingly comfortable. I can’t imagine wanting to change into anything else. Plus, I’m head over heels in love with it! I’m already thinking of excuses to wear it after the wedding (e.g., wedding dress night with girlfriends, around the house just for fun…haha). If I had a big, heavy dress though, I would definitely consider getting something lighter for later on in the evening.

@bbbria:  OMG I want that dress so bad! The one that you’re wearing for your reception! How much was it? I want it for my rehearsal & rehearsal dinner. ..depending on the price!  I really like your wedding dress too! You’ve got awesome taste girl!

My wedding dress was actually marketed as a reception dress, but I couldn’t justify spending another $500 to $800 on another dress! My dress works great for an outdoor wedding; not having to deal with any train, etc. ๐Ÿ™‚

@foz:  I totally know how you feel. I wish I could wear my wedding dress all day. I was really against wearing more than one dress. I compromised by finding simple but elegant dresses that can be worn again. My reception dress was $60; a boxing day bargain.

@Peanut-Sue:  Haha thank you! ๐Ÿ™‚ I want to say I paid just under $150 USD after shipping?? Honestly, I wanted the dress so bad I just closed my eyes and hit “confirm”! Anyway, here it is, in black or ivory. ๐Ÿ™‚

It looks a little different on this model, but it’s the same dress, and I promise it’s beautiful in person. Just make sure you accurately convert your size to AU sizing!

@Hiswife2be:

Yes, in China, brides normally change 3-5 dresses! So 2 is not much at all. Here’s 2 I’m picking: 1 for ceremony, 1 for reception(a bit more chinese QiPao style)

I had a jimungus ball gown, so I swapped out into a little hawaiian dress my husband bought me when he was deployed to hawaii. It wasn’t fancy, I just wanted something cooler & lighter.

Nope, I just had one dress. It never even ocurred to me to have two, which is a good thing because changing would’ve been a nightmare! I adored my pretty poofy dress, and it was super comfortable (until I had been sitting in a car on a bumpy road for a couple of hours).
