I’m not getting married until next May, but I was trying to develop some ideas for gift bags for our guests who are staying in hotels. What do you suggest? Right now this is what I have thought of:
– bottled water and juice
-microwave popcorn and assorted candy(lemon heads, gum, chocolate)
– Things to do in CHicago magazine
– Map to our wedding activities (bowling lane, conservatory and lazer tag)
Any other ideas are greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I did them for my wedding, because it was semi-destination (half of the guests traveled, the other half lived there). I put cheese & peanut butter cracker packs, trail mix, brochures for local restaurants, etc., and the bottled water & candy. Our guests loved them!

We’re not doing them. I did really elaborate ones for my first wedding which was a destination for many of our guests… and decided I didn’t get enough feedback on them to care this time around 🙂

I am not doing gift bags! I think a wedding, a reception and the pig roast is quite enough!

@KT808:LOL! For some reason that made me laugh!
We are not doing them either. I thought about it and even though we have a few members of family coming from out of town, most guests are local and I just don’t think it’s an added expense that necessary. JMO…
