Just want to know how a 0.70ct solitaire looks on a finger, the internet doesnt help much. The one I am looking at is 5.75 x 5.79mm, Would it look much different from a 6mm stone or not really? Would really appreciate your help.
Thanks guys 🙂

Maybe I can help. My center stone is .74 ct and 5.7 mm on a size 6 finger. This was from trying bands a week ago.

lulu_lemon: haha it all depends on the lighting and such. But thank you. Plus close up pictures on the bee have a funny way of distorting actual sizes. Either way it’s the perfect size for me and when picking we found a noticeable jump between .50-.75 but the difference between .75 to 1ct was hard to see. Plus settings make a difference too.

Unfortunately my phone dulls out the sparkle of the diamond. But for reference, here is my 3/4 carat D/VS1 on a size 7 finger.

I have a .75 ct with a really good spread, so its diamond is 5.95-5.99 mm’s. Here it is on my 5.5 finger

Here is it reset in a 6 prong rose gold setting

glasgowgirl: oh yours is definitely bigger! Believe me my ring looks teeny tiny in real life!
blushbliss: I don’t believe your rocking 3/4 of a ct. I always thought you had well over a ct! Either way it’s drool worthy and your new setting is perfect.

Strawberryshmoo: haha thanks! It’s the spread. It faces up at almost 6 mm. I do have another ring that features a 1 ct. Perhaps that’s what you are thinking of? I’ve done lots of resets with my diamonds, so it gets confusing lol.

blushbliss: confusing? Nah a girl needs to have options! either way youve got a great collection. Your wedding band inspires me so much to find one unique, but that’s a challenge in itself. Did you have trouble picking a band or did you always know you wanted to have that rose band created?
