@Mz Izzie:  This is the cutest post ever! I am not engaged YET but i do have a promise ring. She is beautiful, even though she is does not have real diamonds. I do not have a name for her but after reading this post I am going to think real hard for a name for my engagement ring, once i get her. (bf and I have been looking for rings and we already know what we want).

Fun! I hadn’t thought of naming mine, but now that you mention it I have the perfect name for her. Destiny. Because my Fiance proposed on a surprise cruise to the bahamas on a ship named Destiny. Haven’t gotten the band yet. I’ll be thinking of a name for that one.

Ering: Cera Claire (Cera means fiery ones in Latin – pronounced Sarah, Claire means clear and bright in Latin)

Wedding band: Candice (Greek: fire white)

FI’s Wedding band: Cliff (FI proposed to me on a cliff hahaha)

*Don’t have a pic of his band yet!

I always thought when I got my engagement ring I would just refer to her as Bella because it’s the Antique Bella Halo but honestly I absentmidedly just refer to her as The Precious. Like I’ll go to clean or do something that might damage it and I’ll seriously think “Oh no! I have to take off The Precious first!” D:

My e-ring’s setting is called the “Denise,” but I’ve never actually referred to it as Denise. It’s more like my name for it in my head, because I’m sure people would think I was crazy if I started going “Oh, look how Denise is sparkling today!”

I never actually refer it to it by name.  There was a similar post several months back that MrsEstep started and she told me that my yellow diamond looked like a canary (even tho the term “canary” is reserved for stones in the fancy deep and beyond color scale) and my brain immediately went:

yellow diamond = yellow canary = canary bird = tweety bird.  so the name is Tweety!

Im going to have 2 wedding rings.  One is an estate ring cir 1920 and the other is my gradmothers which was her mothers.  Combined these rings are close to 200 years old so I call them “las viejitas” which is spanish for “little old ladies”.

I’ve never thought about giving my rings names before… but I think if they did have names they’d be old fashioned.

Stella for my e-ring (which means “star”)

and Clara suits my wedding band (“clear, bright”)!

My promise ring would be Alice, just because that name is whimsy to me, and my promise ring comes way back from a time I was more childlike.

Technically my ering is a replica of the “Tiffany” setting.

My E-ring’s name is Ruby. Funny, isn’t it? 🙂

It got its name because my Fiance sold his Jeep to buy it and the Jeep’s name was Ruby! So I transfered title-ship.
