Also, NONE of my wedding party has RSVP’d. I know they are coming but I did send them an invite and a stamped RSVP card.

RSVP Deadline: Last Friday (7/27)

When did you send them out?  Mid-June

How many yes? 107

How many no? 115*

How many still haven’t responded? 57 – I have a lot of calls to make.  🙁

* FH’s entire family lives in Europe so we were expecting a high no rate.

we sent 32 invites out and while we haven’t gotten all of them back yet we have heard from all but 2 couples.

I hope the ones who we called will mail their cards back – want to keep them in my keepsake box.

Only 1 no, grandfather. kind of disappointed in that, but still looks like it will be a good day 🙂

@MyrellaMayte:  No, you should be fine. I would suggest getting them out soon though. I think the norm is 6-8 weeks before the event.

we sent out invites for 99 people (about 70 invites)

so far we have 55 YES’S, 5 no’s & 39 not yet responded.

the things is, all of the 55 people who said yes are people i KNEW were coming. the 39 include the ones that im not sure about.

Big relief today, we finally got under 200 maximum attendees with this last “no” RSVP for 4 people (who we’d never met).  That means that if all 57 RSVP’s that haven’t come yet are a yes, we’ll have 196 people.  Still way too many and an 85% yes rate, but at least we won’t be over 200; for some reason that was my panic number.  Here’s to hoping for at least 21 more no’s and ideally we’d like 46 more no’s!

@macbeth91512:  I’m in the same situation! We have heard from about 102 guests and still await about 70 more…most of the people who have RSVP’d are people who I figured would come…now I’m waiting until my deadline to hear from the people on my “presumed not coming” list…and I’m really crossing my fingers that they DON’T come…we only intended to have 150 and now it’s looking like we will have up to 165…sigh…8 more days until RSVP’s are due back! ….and If I have to hunt you down for your pre-addressed, pre-stamped enevelope that you only have to write your damn name and food preference on, I will punch you!

…I can for sure see the bridezilla creeping up now that we are 5 weeks out…

We sent out our invitations on the 17th of July (almost 4 weeks ago), and we’ve received 13 RSVPs back, still waiting on another 40 RSVP cards.

Our RSVP deadline is Augusst 21st (same as our hotel’s booking deadline), so I’m hoping more come back in the next two weeks so I don’t have to call a huge list of people for their meal choice :/

Had a return date of July 31 and we’ve heard from just about everyone, woo hoo!  We had 74 invites and about 10 RSVP’s not returned.  Some of them talked directly to Fiance  about not being able to come (of course I am thinking, why not mail the card IT HAS A STAMP).  Some of the non-returns were those we knew weren’t coming (e.g. faraway relatives) (again, just send the card!) (I guess I should confirm they aren’t coming!)

Of course tonight Fiance says X, who told us they couldn’t attend, now say “hey, we might be down that way that weekend, so maybe we can come.  We can just sit to the side.”  Uh, no?  Good for Fiance, he told them, no, tell us this week – if you think you’re coming we’ll reserve a table for you, better to plan that way then to try to accomodate later!  Luckily we don’t need final numbers with our caterer quite yet.
