I wore a tea length dress because I love them.

I used this as my inspiration and had it custom made because it was hard to find here (in Australia) and when I did find it they wanted over 3 times the price it retails in the USA so I just had it made instead.

You’re totally not! I’m a long dress bride but thought long and hard about two short ones- a DB Oleg Cassini tulle confection and the Allure 8803, they’re both incredible.. I’ve seen them around here.  There are a couple of short dress threads already, maybe try searching those.

PS- yours is super cute!  I remember seeing it (or something like it) in a few ads.  Are you doing fun shoes?  I think that’s the best part of a short dress!

I technically count because we got married in the courthouse recently, though we’ll have a wedding in August (for which I have a ful length dress).

@Pocket_Mouse:  So pretty! It looks great on you.

@islandbabes:  I saw your other post about having to hide the hole with your DIY flowers. It looks amazing.

I haven’t gotten my dress yet, but my dream dress has always been a short one. And not just for the rehearsal, or reception. I want it for the whole shebang.

I’ve been drooling over Maggie Sottero Isadora Ann for over a year now. I don’t think it’s been discontinued yet, and I hope it’s still in production by the time I go dress shopping.

I tried on a short dress and that is what I really wanted to get. Since our wedding is so casual, it fit better. But when I put on my current dress, I loved it so much I had to get it.
