Welcome to WB ARock! I love it when guys get involved too. I love that you posted under “Men” too – Hah!

There used to be a BEE Mr. Monkey I think? Sometimes guys pop in & out to get opinions. None really stay. It’d be cool if we had more guys on the boards – male POV’s would be great.

Welcome AROCK! We’d love a groom’s POV. Does your bride know how lucky she is? πŸ™‚

Do you need advice/guidance on anything in particular?

There was a Mr. Mango, but he ended up disappearing for personal reasons I remember. πŸ™

Mr. Bee, I think you need to go out there and recruit a new “Mr.” for the hive! πŸ™‚

Welcome AROCK!!!  How brave of you to join! πŸ™‚

I find the hardest part for me is understanding and accepting that my guy doesn’t, not necessairly care, but have as much of an oppinion on all the tiny minute details that I do.  He doesn’t care what kind of flower is on his bout. or what the sayings are on our table cards.  Just because he doesn’t have an oppinion, doesn’t mean he doesn’t care.

We’re so glad you’re here and will help in any way we can!

The guy saying he “doesn’t care” as if that absolves him of responsibility when I “don’t care either!” but someone needs to do the work to make the thing needed happen.  And feeling like I have to ask for him to take ownership and the lead on any to do list item.

My advice would be to – do the work and the research.  This site isn’t so much for the work it’s for fun though it has some useful things.

Welcome AROCK, it’s nice to see the male perspective…hope we don’t scare you away, Mr. Mango seems to have disappeared again.

To answer your question, I think one of the hardest parts of planning with my guy is his varrying interest levels. To explain, at the begining of each project or decision he has a very low interest but then as it begins to take shape, he suddenly has opinions and input that would have been more helpful in the beginning of the process. Part of it is just the way he operates, I know he’s more of a visual learner and does not easily comprehend creative ideas until they take on a concrete form.

As far as colors go, we have a running joke about man colors which don’t involve shades like ivory or sky blue, just white and blue!
