I would try some of your local stores, the locally owned store where SO is buying my ring had a few heart shaped stones. I didnt see any with halos, but when I asked about a halo for a ring I was interested in they said they could make one up in any shape, so its possible that they could make up a heart halo I would think. Hope this helps! Good luck!!

First of all, what carat size do you want and what budget are you working with?

Try bluenile.com or adiamor.com. They have heart shaped diamonds!! And if they don’t have the halo, they can custom make it.  🙂

I agree with dawn89, check some of your local stores or chains.. With it being almost Valentines day I am sure a few stores will have some heart shaped rings to chose from.

Unfortunately, heart cuts are “fancy” cuts and are also very expensive. A .90ct heart diamond with decent C’s is about $4000 alone.

JCP has a black diamond one :

If you can’t find a white diamond, you can always go into a gemstone, which are lovely as well.

Justice of the Peace Diamonds Inc. – my friend has a bridal line and i know he has halo heartshapes.  He has to special order them, but they come fast.  give him the mm size of the center you are looking for, or you can ask if he can find heart shaped diamonds and he can tell you what stones and ring fit your budget.  IDK if his catelogue has the heart styles in it, but he can mail you one.

If you are willing to look into other gemstones, why not moissanite? You can order a loose heart shaped moissanite for under $2000 for any size.

I think you need to contact a good jeweler.  🙂  It is possible to get exactly what you want on your budget I think, you may just need a stock setting for the mount.  😉

@Chikis64:  We used gemsny.com, fantastic prices and great work. Just show them a picture or describe what you want choose your stone and they make it. So easy and great quality! We went to their physical location but they have web orders too.

There is always the Custom route… sounds expensive but it isn’t necessarily any more so than buying something “off the rack”… and you get to choose the entire ring… stone, setting, price range you are comfortable with etc.

Look for a family jewellery store in your area that has been in business for a long long time, and go in and ask them questions.

As for loose stones… I would never buy something unseen (under a jewellers loupe).  BUT you can get a good idea of what is available out there and costing by checking out one of the many on-line Loose Diamond Sellers

Blue Nile is probably one of the most known = http://www.bluenile.com

As of this moment (available stones for sale is updated daily / as they are sold off) Blue Nile is listing 1,596 Heart Shaped Diamonds of varying quality (the 4 Cs… 5 if you count Certification, 6 if you count Canadian / Conflict Free)

The results for those Heart Shaped Diamonds range in price from a LOW of $ 396 for a 0.31 Carat – Fair Cut – F Colour – SI-1 Clarity upto a HIGH of $ 530,532 for a 9.04 Carat – Very Good Cut – F Colour – VS-2 Clarity (so something for everyone, and every budget)

Hope this helps,

PS… If you are NEW to all this… educate yourself on Diamonds and the 4Cs (CUT Shape & Quality – COLOUR – CLARITY – and CARAT).  You can get decent info on the Blue Nile Website in their Education Section = http://www.bluenile.com/diamonds/diamond-education?track=NavEduMatDia

As well hang around WBee long enough and this the RING BOARD and you’ll also learn tons.  Remember an informed consumer is a wise consumer… and will run less risk of being ripped off / disappointed in the long run
