@Lottiepop:  Congrats and welcome to hive!

Not to sound negative, but perhaps consider waiting to conceive another child. You two are young and in love. Perhaps enjoy your time with each other and Elodie for now. Another child so soon could really strain the relationship, especially since you have not been together for too long.

Honestly, not trying to be negative, just a small suggestion. Regardless of your decision, good luck and I hope your wedding planning goes well!

@bmo88:  this!  for sure…  What is the rush to have another baby, especially when you really haven’t been together for so long.  I am glad he adores Elodie and sounds like he adores you as well.

Maybe though he is just being silly and wants to propose on his birthday (as a birthday present to himself) or perhaps Christmas in front of friends and family? Like, maybe he has the ring already, but is waiting for the “perfect” moment?

Sounds like you guys are good together so Congrats on finding the man of your dreams!  And welcome to the hive.  Seriously, this place is AMAZING for ideas, support, venting, opinions, etc…  its just awesome.

@Ronneykay:  True, he may already have the ring. I had no idea my Fiance had the ring for over 2 months before proposing.

@Lottiepop:  Welcome!  πŸ™‚

Here is your syllabus:  http://www.weddingbee.com/2006/10/25/wedding-acronym-dictionary/ We expect you to have that memorized by your 200th post.  Kidding!  πŸ˜‰  Have a great time here.

Sidenote: since when did we start giving unsolicited family planning advice on WB?  It may have good intentions but it comes off presumptuous and judgemental of their decision to add to their family.

@WillyNilly:  I didn’t give family planning advice at all, just a small suggestion/perspective. Bees have commented on aspects of a post even though it was not part of a direct question. This happens when bees talks about arguements/troubling situations/relationships etc.

I was in no way judging the situation, just saying “enjoy the relationship now.” Bees say this a lot. It was not presumptous or judgemental in any way. I know that tone and inference can be difficult to detect in posts, but that was not the intent.

Oooooh! I haven’t seen the WB Dictionary! I wish I had seen that earlier! I’ve been guessing this whole time. Haha.
