Hi Bees! Just curious, has anyone ever considered/actually wore a high-low gown and had a separate long tulle skirt under to make it look more A-line?
My wedding is next summer 2018 (it was changed from winter and now I have to think of a whole new dress) and also I’m am really short at just about 5 ft. I didn’t want to buy a dress I could only wear once so I started looking into evening dresses. Since I’m short, hi-low dresses (depending on the hi part) looks like long gowns with trains haha. I was thinking if I could incorporate a long tulle skirt and create a whole new look, then I could take a skirt off and have another one for the reception. Any thoughts on that idea?
Some more context: I really like this light blue marchesa dress (I’m also a bit nontraditional in the sense that I’m willing to expand to pastel colors for my dress)
