@RobynNOLA: Thanks I think my legs are my best asset lol,,so naturally I am attracted to wearing shorter outfits, Especially in the summer lol when its cute short and wedge sandal weather, The key for me in the right hem line for by bridal dress will be not to short as to look untasteful,

@nibbler: Hmm not sure how I feel about bead work ,,I like simple for the top part Im not totaly sure if it should be strapless or not,,
I do like lace, silk not big into patterns.
As far as skirts I really love the “tulle” look or something realy flowing rather then straight.
Thanks for the complement. and yes I do think I am super fun to shop with dress I have a pretty eye and cute overall style. I maybe a feminie gay male but I work hard at keeping a very girlish body and cute appearance lol,,pilates hehe and weekly mani pedis 🙂

@memo: That was my fave one of the ones @beachbride1216 had on her page,,for one those shoes are soo adorable I love that,,
But i also thought the sash under the bustline would work for me just not sure if I could pull off that top, At first I was a little hesitant about stapless when i went to the wedding as a guest a couple weeks ago I felt a little exposed with by sholders and all but I quickly got used to it and actually ended up cute I think helps to have tiny sholders to

Congratulations!!! First off, there is nothing offensive about you, or your relationship. You have a love that deserves to celebrated just as much as anyone else’s. Don’t feel a need to apologize for being who you are- a beautiful bride looking for a dress that will make you feel amazing on your wedding day! You are just as special as any other bride. 🙂
Secondly, I am totally jealous of your gorgeous legs. I think a short dress would be just fab on you. I don’t know how to post pics from a website in a post, but here are some links to some I found on David’s bridal that I thought would look great on you!

@AlishaE: The empire waist dress you are wearing in the photo suits you beautifully. I’m not sure if this link will work, but I’d suggest for you an empire waist, hi-low hemline. To my eye, this hemline shows off legs best. http://www.snowybridal.com/p/Beach-Informal-A-Line-High-Low-Chiffon-Strapless-Empire-Wedding-Dress_109/?offsite_soure=googleshop

@Pepperwoodsy: Thank you so much for those kind words they mean alot to me. I have had to battle to finally be happy in life and self acceptance is a beautiful thing 🙂
All the girls on here so far have not only been very helpful but also so sweet and compimentary I love getting complements from my boyfriend but to get them from women always means alot to me, I have always gotten along really well with straight women especialy married women, Its funny how some gay guys get jealous of women or just dont like them, I am totally opposite I look to women as role models once I just decided to embrace my feminity and not care if people think I am a queen or swish or a sissy just accept it and enjoy it, Things just fell into place for me including meeting my fiance. I think being engaged now planning our wedding and then haveing the oppotunity to be his wife will inspire me even more, so thanks everyone 🙂
Now I have to ask,,,whats up with Davids Bridal ladies I need feed back, they have a ton of super cute dresses onlline but I wont go online I need to try on dresses in person ,,im not patient enough to get it from online then be disappointed or go have it altered and all that,,,ok so yeah What are their shops like in person is the selection nearly as good as the online catalog? Also the reviews they got on yelp in seattle not just one of them almost all of them are sooooo negative alot of girls with complaints …so whats the scoop?

@AlishaE: I don’t mean to offend but was wondering if you identify as gay male or female? Because there is a difference and if you identify more with being female as I see in your picture then by all means wear the wedding dress! Even if you don’t, do what you want, you look very beautiful regardless would love to see some pics of you in some samples!

@elliptical2013: Hi, no offense at all. Thanks for the complement to
Baiscally I guess on “paper” you could say I am a very feminie gay male.
However as far as whom I identify more with that is for sure women.
Style wise there is noting about me “male” I started expressin myself a couple years ago with a feme style ans look at its grown on me for sure. It helps alot that my boyfriend is supportive, many gay guys are not into girly types. Had a really bad relationship with my dad due to how i was growing up so pretty much I was raised mosty by my older sisters so from the start I had strong female tendecies as well as role models.
I get that I am a male genetically and I am fine with that, but I relate to women so much more on all levels .Alot of times I get called “her” “she” just in reference since alot of times I am in a sense one of the girls socially, I never take it the wrong way.
The good thing about our society now is I dont have to get a surgery go see a counselor do something dramatic, I can legally marry my fiance as the Bride and the wife, take his name and that to me is so appealing, I understand it not all like most gay males, in fact I get more evil looks from gay guys when I am out with Jason they judge me because they thing someone who is so feminie adapting into more of “girl” role makes gays look bad I guess. I never have any problems with straight couples I think when they see a very masculine guy out with is girly boyfriend its more traditional, So to answer the question I am bilogically a gay male but Im totaly one of the girls and proud of it

@AlishaE: go short and flirty to show off those nice legs.

Since I got such good revies on my formal dress I recently wore I thought Id share a couple of the other pics,,,they are kinda silly lol but fun..
Also since I have got so much great advice on wedding dresses Im curious of what the opinon is from you ladies on the overall outfit. I will say I really never thought about dresses like as an option for just daily wear shopping what not but after seeing how flattering the can be as well as how way more comfy they are, GAWD compared to skinny jeans and a t shirt way more comfy. So what could I have done diffeent or better.
I think the dress was a definite plus , make up umm kinda think not great wrong eye shadow shade perhaps? And then the stockings i have no clue on, For starters I was just going to pan on wearing the dress with no nylons at all just my heels, When I was getting ready I noticed the hem line was already pretty short but once I put on my heels it seemed to short for the event, I thought some tights or stockings would help not look so racey, Originally I went out to wall mart lol last minute and got these silver pattern ones, the were way to sheer so I just went with black and I think the stocking ended up clashing with my heels, In the future what color of nylons would go with this? Overall I was really happy with the look, room for improvement I think though.
here is the overall look again but with a cuple new pics added
