Honestly I dont like any of these dresses. I dont think the first one flatters your figure at all, the cut isnt sitting properly on your waist plus that halter top style is just not fitting…

I do like the a line style alot more I just think you need a different dress that fits your body properly

Best of luck bee

If you want more modesty, you can always have a piece of fabric matching your dress to be sewn onto the neckline to cover some of the cleavage. I did that and it worked out great.

I love all three, but #1 is a bit more “current” looking, makes you look younger. Very pretty on you.

Dress #1, hands down. I don’t consider it understated or beachy at all–quite the opposite, actually–especially with that long, beautiful train. I think once you get all dolled up, you’ll think of it as perfect for your castle wedding. Also, try it with a sparkly belt, like other bees suggested.

I wanted to add: as for your back tattoo, I once saw a bride who blinged hers up with glitter and rhinestones. It was really pretty, actually.

Number 1 by a long way. It is light yet bridal, it fits beautifully and you look lovely in it

The second two ( which l can hardly tell apart tbh) are nice enough but totally lack the fresh appeal of the first on you.

Out of the three dresses you chose, the first looks best. However, I  don’t think it’s the most flattering style for you. As someone with a short torso (14″) and who identifies their stomach as a problem area, I would suggest a drop waist with ruching and potentially a corset back.  Below is an example of that type of dress (this was from my first marriage). Looking back I really should’ve stuck to my guns and bought the dress in the photo.  I actually wore something similar to you for my wedding and looking back I was disappointed with how I looked in my dress (it was high waisted and it didn’t sit well on my body at all).

As for your back tattoo have you tried Covermark Leg & Body Magic? It got me through some extremely conservative settings and hid tattoos from my extended family really well. It goes on opaque but literally covers it until it’s no longer visible.

Overall, I wish you the best of luck choosing the right dress. If it’s the one you posted? Awesome! If not, that’s okay, you will find something else that’s better for you.

Of the ones you have on here, I love number 1! Personally I think it looks the best. I know you have tried on a ton (I did as well) but I also have a short torso and think my stomach is the problem and I went with a fit and flare that had lace to hide my stomach a bit. I felt everything else made me look boxy, which is what I think these dresses are doing to you. I actually think we have a very similar build! You could always add a slip underneath to pop it out a bit too (it was an option, I just didn’t want it that poufy). This one is a Stella York, and honestly of all the ones I tried on, this was the only one I felt made me look the best! It has an open back, but you can find something similar that may have more of a covered up back.

I agree with others, my first thought about 2&3 are they feel very dated. #1 is the most fresh and youthful and looks great on you! Not prommy IMO. I do agree with ladyvk that it might look better with the waist lowered.

I agree with all the PPs – no question, it’s #1 for the win!
