As uncomfortable as it would be, some people have said they wear two pairs of Spanx to smooth things out?  I feel like I might pass out though lol

Have you tried on the Spanx in the thicker fabric?  I know there are differences between the thickness of the Spanx between styles.  I have a pair that is made of very thick material around the middle and I can’t imagine my belly button showing through.

If you’re still having a problem, though, maybe try a combination approach?  Tape and Spanx?  Or like the previous poster said, some people wear two pairs of Spanx.

How about nipple petals?  You could even double them up (since the come in pairs) and wear 2 over your BB.  If they can reign a nipple in, surely they would work on a belly button?

Why don’t you just take it out for the day?

Are you using nude spanx in a thick fabric? I can’t see mine at all with those suckers on!!

@tracieszcz:  I think she’s talking about her actual belly button which is not removeable ๐Ÿ™‚

@BLeigh:  I actually have the same problem with my belly button in my gown.  I am very interested in what everyone else would suggest.

My next fitting is in 2 weeks.  I was planning to try out some things like the medical tape, the nipple petals, or even worse case scenario wrapping my belly in a gauze to keep it looking flat.  I’ll let you know how it goes.

This may sound weird, but what if you could fill it with a half a cotton ball and then try the spanx?

@boombacha: That is awesome creative thinking!

@boombacha: omg that is exactly what I was going to say! I’d put cotton in there and then medical tape over it.
