@asagirl:  Could you organise to spend the day with some friends or family? Go shopping, go to lunch or dinner followed by drinks, the movies. Something that you would get a bit dressed up for.

I actually took the opposite approach and let Fiance see me a couple hours later, and we even went out on a special date night dinner as to not waste the pretty makeup and hair. I decided to let him see it as a teaser for the big day since he doesn’t get to see anything else 🙂

I had my hair/ mu done and I took down my hair before Darling Husband (then FI) saw me. Looking back on it after comparing photos, it wouldnt have been too big of a deal for him to see me since my hair and makeup looked pretty different on the big day– just due to final polishing and extra detail work (that you don’t necessarily get during the trial)

You could go to your local mall and shop for some wedding day/ honeymoon “outfits”, definitely grocery shopping– I’d also suggest the “shake” test– shake your head back and forth with a bit of force to make sure it stays secure– you’ll likely be dancing, bouncing around the reception all night so you definitely want to make sure it’ll hold up!
