@bridinmt:  You’re right, the sock did NOT work on my thin hair. I went with the “oversized” bun assist and I get nothing but compliments. You’ll need a good amount of hairspray and bobby pins, too. It’s big, though: I always smack it off the door frame of my car getting in and out :-p

I wore my hair in a bun for my wedding! It was a straight-up ballerina bun (since I was a ballerina for a bajillion years and felt like one in my dress), jazzed up with accessories:

@McBezel:  no problem! Just so you know: you don’t “roll” it down your hair like you do in a sock bun tutorial. Well, *I* don’t, it doesnt work. I wrap my hair all *around* it after I put it at the base of the pony tail 🙂
