We had to go to one of his relative’s birthday party over the weekend. All stinkin day long, everyone was harrassing him about us getting married. Every single time someone came up, he’d say “there’s another month it’s going to wait just because you’re pressuring me…” So I have to suffer waiting because your family is asking questions???
Later on, I brought it up to him. He said he was only teasing and that he does want us to get married this year. I said fine, but I’m letting you know right now that even though you haven’t asked me yet, don’t be surprised if you see me come home with crafting stuff because there are certain things I want in my wedding that will take time to make (i.e. pearl bouquets). I told him that I wasn’t pressuring him, but in the same token, these things take timeand I don’t want to be pressured later trying to get everything put together and giving myself every opportunity to turn into bridezilla.
He said he was ok with that, hugged and kissed me and asked for me to show him some things before I buy them as he wants to have an idea of what my vision is to see if it matches his…
Sigh…I haven’t bought anything yet. I didn’t want to freak him out by running to the store to buy a bunch of stuff the next day. I’m so itching to go though…. lol

Awesome! At least you know it is coming and he has given the go ahead for crafting! Sounds wonderful to me. Craft away.

Mega high five!! Why not put together an inspiration board of things before you go out shopping??

Oh, do it! We are planning on getting married this fall, and I’ve already been dress shopping. (It never ceases to amaze me how long the whole dress process takes…) I told my SO about this and his response was, “It’s nice to know that things are moving forward, even though I’m not doing anything.” lol.

My SO knows I’ve been making plans in my head (and on pinterest, and weddingbee, and on paper, and…) and has been super supportive about my crazy.
These boys, they just don’t know how long this stuff takes, do they?

I came home last night with the beginnings of a pearl bouquet and started working on it. When he asked me what it was for, he actually put down angry birds and helped me! I love that man!
