After seeing lot of wedding photos, I changed from maybe a med heel to high heel
But I am worry that it may hurts my feet as I hardly wear heel now. Wear runner almost everyday…
I am thinking 3 inch or 4 inch shoes now, just simply hoping it make me slimmer that day.
Did you girls wear heel and changed to flat immediately when not many people around? Can I change to flat or runner when I walk?

@gpiglet: I wore short heels – only about 2 inches or so and I’m really glad I did. I walked around Manhattan for two hours after the wedding taking photos and it would have gotten really old really quickly if my feet hurt.
If you’re not used to wearing high heels, I wouldn’t go into it thinking that you’ll be able to tough it out on your wedding day. You can actually end up with nerve damage in your feet from high or uncomfortable heels. Usually it’s temporary, but who wants that?! (I’ve had it, it’s not fun).
If you’re really committed to wearing high heels, start wearing high heels now and getting used to it. It will make such a difference in the way your feet feel, but also in your ability to walk and not look awkward.

I wore high heels over 5 inches. I changed into flats in the middle of the reception. everyone was drinking and dancing so I doubt they paid attention (not that I would’ve cared if they did)

- Wedding: April 2013 - Rhode Island
My heels were 2.5 inches. I can’t imagine wearing anything higher, but I pretty much never wear heels anymore since my Darling Husband is my exact same height. I’m not used to heels, so they kill my feet.

well, I only wear heel on the weekend and I drive for the most part…
that’s what I am worry that if it hurts so much… I may walk like an idiot with the long train dress …
Do you girls know where to get pretty 2 – 3 inch heel? Reason I thought of changing from 2.5 to 3/4 inch heel cuz’ all the 2.5 or 3 inch heel online are just very plain…
