I love the look of sky-high heels on brides, but it just wasn’t for me.  I never wear heels over 3″ (6 – 7 cm) and my fiance on the short side, so wearing anything too high would make me taller than him*.

I ended up picking out some “kitten heels”, only 2.5″.  They have enough hieght to look elegant, but are very comfortable to walk and stand in.  Good luck!

*Not that it’s a bad thing to be taller than your groom, but since I’m shorter than him without heels, I wanted to stay this way with heels!

Comfort is key. I love me some stilettos, but do you want your feet to be killing you before you even make it 1/2 way down the aisle? I’m opting for cute low heeled open toed shoes.

I’ll be wearing a 4.5 inch heel on my wedding day..and I plan to keep them on my feet until those puppies start screaming for me to set them free..Most of my shoes are at least 4 inches, so I’m pretty used to walking in heels all day. There are some things you can put in the shoe to  make it more comfortable..Sometimes powder helps. I know there are some little pads you can buy and put in the shoe as well

I love the look of the higher heels, but didn’t want to be dying, so I went for a 3″ heel (6-7cm). I think it was a good compromise. It’ll give me some height without being ridiculous, and I won’t be uncomfortable.
