I am too! Just went to alterations and I am making my ballgown into high low style to make it easier to move around in but still have a small train. I will post pictures when I go back for another fitting.

Hm, I have one by accident. My dress came as a petite (used wedding gown site) I am not so sure about the high-low. Would love to see some pics of brides going this route for sure though! If I could swing it, it would save me about $300+ in alterations costs! ๐Ÿ™‚

well, its not really pretty imo-it’s 4-5 inches too short in front, you can’t really tell by the pic. I  just couldnt get a good shot and couldnt ask him to help either, so this is all I got ๐Ÿ™‚

I know this will sound terrible, but everytime I think of high low wedding dresses, I think of the Guns N’ Roses Video for “Cold November Rain” and Stephanie Seymour’s awesomely slutty dress (which PS. I LOVE cause it’s totally OTT).   Honestly, had no idea they could look this nice cause I really think that the first pic posted is super elegant and classy!  Laughing

The one’s posted so far are way more elgant than some I have seen. I’m not a fan of the dresses with super short fronts and long trains that look like mullets, a la Guns N’ Roses video. But if it looks like the one posted I’d definetly give it a go.

yeh over here we actually call them mullet dresses- which is the only reason I can’t like them. There is a lovely one by SoSassi- a branch of brand by sassi holford

@Lily_of_the_valley:  haha, I didnt think it would be the one but I tried it on and all my friends went nuts, one asked if she can wear it next for her wedding… I’m a little hesitant still, mainly due to the “mullett” thing but I think if I add classy shoes, accesories it might be ok :S

@yr22:  This dress was one of my frontrunners when I started digging into the high-low style. I love soft airiness of the skirt!
