My Fiance wants he and the guys to wear chucks for the wedding. I have no problem with it at all, I like the idea and if they’re comfortable, I’m all for it. But. I don’t know what would look best – the regular sneakers, or high tops? Fiance thinks the regular ones “look weird” and will be uncomfortable, but I think the high tops might look weird. They’re all wearing their own black suits, so they’ll coordinate but not match exactly. And this is what Fiance is getting them for a groomsmen’s gift, so leaving it to them individually really isn’t an option either.

Generally, I like the regular chucks better but my vote is for high tops – I think they’ll look neater.

For regular shoes, I MUCH prefer the low-tops. But, if you’re wearing chucks to make a statement about your wedding shoes, you want those to stand out! So for wedding shoes, I say the hi-tops (if you’re going for it, go all the way!!!)
Another thing to consider….in a suit, guys wear their socks up because the pants legs ride up when they sit, the hi-top basically takes care of this so you’d see more shoe, or you can get a color coordinating sock and see if that balances the look of the low-top

I actually think the high tops would be better with suits – I’ve seen a lot of great pictures of that look on Pinterest 🙂

I don’t have any pro pics yet but my guys all wore low chucks. We also had the groom and the best man’s chucks custom made to say “groom” and “best man.” I thought they looked great!

Low-tops. They’re more classic, In My Humble Opinion

I vote high-tops…looking at the last photo i HATE seeing laces on shoes, a future bride going to be wearing my own high-tops- Fiance mite be wearing his fav doc martens. for my girls im going to ask what they feel like wearing, if short dresses ide like them all to match if long whatever they want, ide like to see them in low-top or slip ons but looking at this photo did kind of take away from the “romantic”style we were going with at the wedding…
