Fiance and I met on craigslist when he responded to my personals ad. I have no idea what drew him in beyond my being in his age group and sounding relatively normal. His first email to me was so sweet and well written, but I especially liked that he liked math and that he had an interesting job.

My boyfriend and I knew each other through Instagram! But were introduced through a dating app! I love looking back to his old posts from when I didn’t know him! I still have screen shots from when we first started chatting!

I met my SO on Plenty of Fish.  I’m sure my picture caught his attention, but he immediately commented on the fact that I was from Minnesota and newish to the area.  So our initial conversations were of awesome things to do around Pittsburgh (and he wasn’t even trying to get me to go out with him yet!).  I’m not sure what caught my eye with his… he messaged me first.  I enjoyed the conversation so much, I kept talking to him for about 5 days until he asked me out.  To be honest, his profile might have been a bit of a turn-off (he listed smoker, Christian… none of which he really is… well, the smoking he quit when I came around).  But his brief mention of his awesome child and the fact he played guitar/liked good music were positives that didn’t make me completely question him 😉  But now we’re hopelessly in love!  So, happy ending!

I met my Girlfriend on POF and initially noticed her hips lol. Then I read that she really liked Bob Marley and so do I. I messaged her first, asking what her favorite Marley song was and told her how much I liked his music too. Our 1st few conversations & texts were about music we like and have in common. She says my cute face and shy smile caught her attention.

On my profile I stated that I’d never date a smoker or pillow princess. She lied about both upfront because she really wanted to at least talk to me but now neither apply.

On her profile, she also mentioned that she’d never been on a proper date which made me want to take her out even more for some unknown reason. I guess, even if we didn’t work out, I wanted to set the standard

I met my SO on Plentyoffish and what caught my eye was his smile. I love a nice smile. Nothing turns me on more than some nice, white straight teeth. 😀 As you know, most men online dont read the profile and go by the pic so of course, he found me attractive. As far as my profile, i made sure i included pics of me alone, a full profile pic(head to toe), ones with me smiling in most and also another with my friends(with their permission of course—-to show how social i am). <br />For details, i stated how outgoing i am(i really am) and get bored easily lol. I stated that i like nerds and would prefer someone with a stable job and no kids. With plentyoffish, you have to state that because most of the guys on there are …quite interesting.

He lied about his height and added 2″ (most men do) but it wasnt a big deal. We still joke about it to this day.
