Me!! Ours is in CT though. Have you looked into whether or not they give you points toward your honeymoon?

I know when we were looking at a Hyatt, if we booked our reception in their ballroom – we’d get 2 nights free at any Hyatt in the world for our honeymoon. Not sure if the Hilton’s do the same. That’d be awesome though.

We LOVED it. My Fiance and I dragged ourselves to 22 venues in our area and we fell in love with the Hilton. To be fair, the Hilton we chose has this amazing tent that we chose to have our reception in. It’s got a fabric draped ceiling, chandeliers and is climate controlled. I’m so excited for it. Mostly we chose it because it’s really pretty and you don’t have to do much to make it look great. Saves $$. I love our contact too – he’s amazing and so easy to work with.

I think we got an amazing deal considering the price of weddings in my area. There’s no site fee. Ask the price per person for their event menu, not just the Wedding menu. They don’t serve the same foods at corporate events, bat mitzvahs, etc as they do at weddings. A little less extravagant, it’s a lot less $$ per person but it’s still great food.  We also got 3 rooms (1 for us and 1 for each of our parents) free for 2 nights around the wedding.

Check if there’s another Hilton in your area too – we went to 3 of them and went with the lowest price. It helped a lot to be able to say “Well the Hilton in Xtown quoted us _____($X.00 per person)“. They’re in the same network, but they’re still competitors.
