the puzzle guestbook thread got me wanting to add touches of a puzzle theme to our wedding, without going overboard of course…lol
these are some of my findings so far:
…. finding each other was like “searching to find the perfect fit”. Once you met “you really clicked”. When you do a puzzle it is easiest to start with the border, the outside. The wedding is celebrating the creation of your outline, your guide, your path and it is up to you two to fill in the blanks and make it whole.
i don’t think i would do all of these but i’d love to get some more ideas….anything i decide to do will be DIY projects so they would be variations that I could do myself….

I like the suggestions you have… we are doing the guestbook puzzle too! But that is the extent of our puzzleness… 🙂

@MamaHusky3:I am not that creative to make one myself! 🙂 I will be purchasing… I found a couple different options on etsy

If you have children attending the reception, you can downlaod printable puzzles to use as their placemats. Thay can take them apart and do the puzzle when they are bored.

I love the guestbook puzzle idea! I hope that my SO agrees that we can incorporate this into the wedding.
@MamaHusky3: Where would you go to make the puzzle on your own? The ones I saw on etsy (especially from BellaPuzzlesToo) are really cute… but may be out of my budget. =/

@Ms.Aum: im sorry i didn’t see your question earlier! i actually am not sure how i would make one on my own yet….the first idea i thought was to use chipboard…or foamboard and cut out the pieces myself….i’m not sure how ‘finished’ it’ll look doing it that way so i’m still uncertain….

I would leave it to the professionals. My friend is getting married and she bought one for under $30. She bought one where she added her photo to one side and the guests signed the other side. She said there are also plain White Puzzle Pieces that she saw that are also used as Guest Book Puzzles. Her puzzle is HUGE and thick and beautiful. I’m obsessed with jigsaw puzzles and find them to be very fun! Here’s the link of where she bought it (I shortened it up a bit).: http://tinyurl.com/9bs53bz
