(Closed) Hiring a Make Up Artist — how does it work?

@roseyposey:  It depends on if you get a strictly ‘wedding’ MUA. I found mine through my salon, she’ll come a few hours before the wedding, do me and my MOHs makeup and leave. It costs $100 full the full airbrush makeup, and $75 for the trial I’ll be doing before my engagement session. I do not think its necessary (like, at all) to have the MUA there the whole time. If the artist is good it shouldn’t budge for the next 4-6 hours anyway – just make sure you get the airbrush application and you’ll be all set for the day/night. Do you get your hair done at a salon? Ask your stylist for reccomendations. I’m not an expert, but I hope that helps 🙂

I have never heard of them staying for 6 hours!! You should be fine once they apply it, but she should give you a lip color and maybe a powder for touch ups if you need them.
