Pawn shop! Although his has diamonds in it, we did see some plain bands as well. We got mine at a pawn shop also. Great finds, excellent value! Don’t let the “Pawn shop” reputation steer you away from checking some out 🙂

We ended up getting his at a local mom and pop jeweler.  He stated he would be happy with a very inexpensive titanium “mangagement” ring I had gotten for him from Amazon.  I had gotten it for him on a whim because it was so inexpensive.

I wanted him to have something on the order of mine (white gold), so I sort of talked him into going to the jewelry store and looking at gold rings.  He ended up picking out his own, a chunky 18K white gold one.  And he really loves it.

Maybe let him go look at styles of gold rings just to make sure he knows what’s out there, unless he’s already final on that.  I think sometimes guys don’t know what’s really out there for them, like we do 🙂

DH wanted something different to the norm, so we ended up going with Jewelry By Johan and shipping it into the UK. The process was a little bit of a headache (only because I listened to DH when I ordered the first set of sizers, and had to order a second set of sizers…) but the end result has been well worth it and he loves his ring.

We got his from etsy. He wanted something not shiny and with a yellow sapphire in it. So I got him a tungsten carbide ring with a sapphire flush set in it. He loves it.

Weisfields at the mall! Though I like the idea of getting the band from the same place as the engagement ring if possible for sentimental purposes (and for convenience when going in for cleanings/inspections!)

We got ours from our diamond broker, a 6mm white gold band. Super plain, it was $450 which is less than what some of the “mainstream” places were charging.
