I have struggled with my weight my whole life. 3 years ago i weighed 250 pounds, I managed to loose 80 pounds and have stayed at that weight the past year… about 8 months ago I popped into a Bridal shop not thinking id find anything but I fell in love with the first dress I put on! The only size they had was the sample size 8 which wouldnt even budge i had to pretend it fit. I would have needed a 12 or 14 at this point. I wanted the dress soooo bad but I told the ladies at the shop hey, give me 2 months and ill be back-ill go ahead and lock in the price but I dont want to order it yet. I came back, put the sample back on and it fit me like a glove except for the exception of the panel needed to be moved a little. Since then I have lost an additional 20 pounds totalling 100 pounds lost for me in the past 3 years. I am so happy to have gone from a size 20 (maybe more cuz i started wearing MATERNITY) in jeans to my dream wedding dress is an 8!!!! I have the Karena Royale btw 🙂 My final before pic was taken last night at my wedding shower!

I really, really want to cut my hair shorter so I’m bribing myself to finish off the final ten pounds to get the haircut reward.
I love the karena royale, do you have a pic of you wearing it? You look great! P.s. I’m curious how tall you are?

@lilsweetie: Im not going to lie, when you are overweight your whole life and have bad self esteem it is HARD to be satisfied (for me it is anyways!) I would love to lose 10 more pounds since I plan on trying for a baby as soon as the wedding is over 🙂 I did it with DETERMINATION! I started a new job and realized i was too big to fit in a bathroom stall comfortably and that was the beginning for me. It crushed me! After that I was determined, I ate tons of chicken, vegetables, and wheat EVERYTHING. By the time i was 190 pounds I could run 6 miles every day! I am glad to be an inspiration. THat is another way I got so determined I looked at success stories and watched the Biggest Loser and knew that if they could do it so could i. 🙂

I have done so much research on healthy eating and weight losss the healthy way that I could probably be a nutritionist without training! lol its kind of ridiculous but if someone asked me how many calories was in ANYTHING I could probably guess within ten calories. I also used the MYFITNESSPAL app on my phone. its great! 1200 calories a day. just gotta burn more than u consume! 🙂
