Yes, what is the big deal? It looks great!

No - too much like a bridal gown

I’m not a fan at all, but not for a MOB, just in general.

I agree with danadelphia. If a mother of the bride wears it, it’s a mother of the bride dress. My mother is far too cool and too young for a lot of the traditional MOB dresses I’ve seen. She wouldn’t be caught dead in one.  I could totally see her in something like this.

I must admit though, I’m also not one of those people who cares if someone else wears white to the wedding. It was pretty clear who was the bride was on my day.  Cool

Looks like an (ugly) wedding dress to me.

maybe i’m nuts, but i think that dress is gorgeous and that any MOB who wore it would be one chic cookie.  lots of brides pick pale pink, peachy, or even occasionally ivory bridesmaid dresses.  I think this is such a pretty neutral.

@bkchi – I totally agree! My mom’s also very stylish (and hot!) and would totally rock something like this. She was in one of the pics I posted from my wedding in her gorgeous peach organza number and more bees asked about her dress than mine, haha. Wouldn’t bother me if I it was ivory or cream either, it was obvious I was the bride.

If you’re not offended (I sure wouldn’t be) – then go for it! If you both love it, who cares?
